Cory Tymoschuk

Cory Tymoschuk is a Vancouver based cinematographer focusing mainly on narrative dramas. Born and raised in Burnaby, BC, Cory has been practicing in the art of film since the wee young age of 15 years old when he discovered his passion in a high school film program at Burnaby North Secondary. Alongside crafting his skill in Cinematography, Cory has also taken a few shots at directing short films, as well as taking an acting class in order to better understand the role of the director on set. In October of 2018, Cory attended his first film festival as a filmmaker with a piece being screened. His most recent short film, titled ‘Ambitions’ was accepted into ‘NFFTY’ (The National Film Festival for Talented Youth), a film festival that is held annually in Seattle, WA. Cory has also contributed to the Vancouver film and television service industry over the last few years as an electrician and a grip, further developing an eye for lighting along the way.
