From the creative musical opening to the ending image and credits, this film is quite perfect imho. Masterful cinematography. So poignant and beautifully written/realized. The young lead's acting deserves praise as do the other 2 - creating very believable people. Lovely lyrical Spanish guitar throughout.

Mama's Ashes is a heartfelt comedy with a beautiful story. Every aspect of this film is high quality from the acting to the editing, from the writing to the cinematography. I highly recommend this film.
