Gail Rastorfer

Gail Rastorfer (Auntie) is a professional actor with over 20 years of experience. She is passionate about all forms of storytelling and is dedicated to turning thoughts in to dynamic action and her projects have included classical plays, to musicals, to new works by Chicago playwrights, to a wide range of on camera work including Indie Film (including Cold War, The Strip, Witless Protection, The Drunk), TV (including Chicago Fire, Boss, Chicago Code and Crisis) and national commercials (selling everything from steam cleaners, to cars, to paper towels).  Gail has worked alongside Mariette Hartley, Dave Foley, Peter Stormare and been directed by the likes of Theresa Rebeck and Chris Smith. She has performed on many Chicago stages including Northlight, First Folio, Chicago Dramatists, The Chicago Theatre, Chicago Shakespeare, and The Goodman. Regional theaters include Indiana Rep, Madison Rep, Cleveland Playhouse, Clarence Brown Theatre, Maltz Jupiter, Merrimack Rep and Asolo Rep. She is the owner of Artistic Strategies which provides business consulting and coaching to performing artists and is a proud member of Actors Equity Association and serves on the Chicago board of SAG-AFTRA. IMDb
