Jonathan Irwin

Jonathan Irwin has a self taught background in CG and VFX and is one of Ireland’s most celebrated young Directors. Jonathan is renowned for his blending of live action and VFX in commercials and music videos. Creating work for UK agencies such as Iris and music videos for artists such as Aqualung/Lianne Le Havas, and Matrix Futurebound. However, it was his incredible video for “We Only Attack Ourselves” by the Funeral Suits that gained Jonathan high-level recognition for his work. Based in Dublin, Jonathan is an incredibly versatile and hands-on Director, regularly directing, editing and supervising the entire VFX process throughout his projects. His Sony branded content project has been lauded for its beautiful slow motion photography and stunt work.
