Mahesh Madhav

Mahesh is an independent filmmaker and producer in Portland, OR. He was introduced to video production in 2012 by an inmate at Oregon State Penitentiary who was serving a life sentence. He honed his newfound skills through volunteer work and giving back to the community by producing cultural and spiritual programs in the South Asian diaspora. Mahesh is also a creative technologist, gaining notoriety from his optimization and software enabling efforts on the popular video post-production software, DaVinci Resolve. Recently, Mahesh co-produced and edited "SPARKY by mollyBANG", which won the award for "Best Music Video" at the 2019 Hometown Media Awards national competition, and had its live premiere at the 2019 Cordillera International Film Festival. "How to Bend Concrete" is his first short documentary, which garnered national attention on the festival circuit, winning multiple awards including Best Documentary (2019 Oregon Cinema Arts Film Festival, 2020 BELIFF London), Best Design Film (2019 Arte Non-Stop Argentina), and Artists Award (2022 Franklin Int’l Film Festival).
