Penny Jackson is an award-winning screenwriter and film producer. Her two short films, My Dinner With Schwartzey and Greetings from Sarajevo, were included at films festivals here and aboard and received many nominations and honors. Her current short film, Overdue, is now in the festival circuit and has already two awards in screenwriting and best romantic short film As a writer and producer, Penny is committed to to creating films focusing on women stories, particularly stories of women not seen on screen. She is a member of New York Women In Film and Television, The League of Professional Theatre Women and The Writers Guild. Penny's novel, Becoming The Butlers, was optioned by Warner Brothers and her second collection of short stories, "My Daughter's Boyfriends" has just been published.
