Samantha Huang

Samantha Huang is a Taiwanese/Canadian photographer and
filmmaker currently based in Vancouver, Canada. She recently
graduated from Capilano University with a Bachelors Degree in Motion
Pictures Art. Influenced by both Eastern and Western cultures, she is
interested in telling stories from both worlds and documenting these
moments in life. She wrote and directed the award-winning documentary
‘Connecting Through Culture’ which looked into the cultures of her
hometown Taiwan. She hopes to continue exploring the differences of
identity and perspective through the medium of photography, narrative
